  3. GFA            A folder containing all the source file bits  that 
  4.                go  with  this  issue's  instalment  of  Han   van 
  5.                Kempen's "Your Second GfA Basic Manual".
  6.  
  7. SVGA           A neat little program that is of use only when you 
  8.                have a Falcon with SVGA monitor. It cranks up your 
  9.                resolution to 864 x 512 when using 16 colours. The 
  10.                hertz  rate  is  a  bit  lower  than  usual,   but 
  11.                otherwise   it's  really  rather   spiffing.   Dox 
  12.                included.
  13.  
  14. MONOPOLY       Does not contain the game "Monopoly",  of  course, 
  15.                because  that  would be serious  infringements  of 
  16.                trade  marks and that kind of  thing.  It  *does*, 
  17.                however,  contain a program called "Geneticopoly", 
  18.                which is a genetic version of it, sortof anyway. I 
  19.                am sure you'll have fun playing it...I have!  Full 
  20.                dox included.  Works on the Falcon,  though  you'd 
  21.                better try ST compatibility screen modes.

  23. Q2MONO20.Q2    A rather compact program that allows you to  write 
  24.                monochrome  emulators  into a  disk's  bootsector. 
  25.                What's the use? Well, you could install it on your 
  26.                bootdisk  if  you only have a colour  monitor  and 
  27.                then  run  some software  written  for  monochrome 
  28.                only.   You   can  write  two  possible   emulator 
  29.                bootsectors:  One if you have a blitter and one if 
  30.                you  haven't.  Doesn't work on a  Falcon.  No  dox 
  31.                included.

  33. RAZREZ         A  folder containing an accessory that can play  a 
  34.                variety of chip music file formats and play  them. 
  35.                Doesn't work on the Falcon. Full dox included.

  37. DCMOMETR       A folder containing a silly CPX module that  keeps 
  38.                track  of  the  amount of  miles  your  mouse  has 
  39.                travelled  from  the  last  reset.  Works  on  the 
  40.                Falcon. Dox included.
  41.  
  42. TOSX           A folder containing "TOS Exit". This program makes 
  43.                sure  TOS programs wait for a key  after  exiting, 
  44.                and that all your colours are reset.  Didn't  test 
  45.                it on the Falcon, but it ought to work there, too. 
  46.                Dox included.
  47.  
  48. PLUTOS.PRG     An ex-commercial game by Micro Value, now found in 
  49.                several PD libraries so I thought "what the heck". 
  50.                It's    a   really   neat   one/two-player    (two 
  51.                recommended) shoot-'em-up game,  one of the finest 
  52.                of its kind.  Very playable,  very addictive,  and 
  53.                works on the Falcon, too, when started from ST low 
  54.                resolution  compatibility mode.  No dox  included. 
  55.                Two joysticks needed for two-player mode.  I think 
  56.                you can even use [Esc] to get back to the desktop.

  58. -- WHAT IF YOU DON'T HAVE "ST ZIP"? -----------------------------

  60.  To extract the stuff mentioned above from the archive present on 
  61. this disk,  you need a program called "ST Zip".  It is  available 
  62. from a variety of sources,  but can also be found on the disk  of 
  63. "ST NEWS" Volume 9 Issue 1.  Please get that issue, or try to get 
  64. "ST Zip" through your local Public Domain library,  BBS,  friends 
  65. or network.
  66.  If there is no other way to get it,  send me a disk with 3  IRCs 
  67. (one  extra  if  you live outside Europe)  requesting  "ST  NEWS" 
  68. Volume 9 Issue 1 (which has "ST Zip" on it).
